Binance responds to rumors of significant reduction in cryptocurrency holdings: not sold, only accou-小树下载

According to previous reports by Zombiet, data from Binance Reserve Proof shows that the exchange significantly reduced its holdings of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (btc), Ethereum (ETH), and SOL in January, and significantly increased its holdings of the US dollar stablecoin USDC.

Among the significant reduction in self owned assets, BTC holdings decreased from 46896 in early January to 2747 in early February (a decrease of 94.1%); ETH holdings decreased from 216313 to 175 (a decrease of 99.9%); SOL holdings have decreased by 99% from 442235 to 4179.

In response to this, Binance officially released a statement yesterday stating that Binance has not sold any assets, and this is only a part of Binance's accounting adjustment. User assets remain as safe as ever.

But how to adjust it specifically? Where have these encrypted assets gone? Why has the USDC position increased? Binance has not provided further explanation on various issues. But what can be confirmed is that Binance did not sell user assets because these assets were originally Binance's own assets, not user custody assets.
